About the event

Nobody loves a sales pitch…. Everybody loves a good story. In fact, the right story can add enough value to your brand that you can actually charge more for it. Merrill Loechner will be discussing how to figure out what your story is, who your target audience should be, and how to create an engaging narrative about who you are and what you offer.

From Merrill’s presentation you will learn:

  • How to build a narrative around you, your service, and your product
  • How to use narratives in different kinds of pitches
  • How to answer “Who are you, what do you do, and why should I care?”
  •  The “shapes” of various narratives and how to modify your stories depending on your audience

Presenter: Merrill Loechner

Merrill has been working in marketing and business development for over three decades. After getting her degree in Communications, she worked with lawyers, scientists, and engineers across the world, from small technology start-ups to multi-national corporations.

She is now an independent marketing consultant and podcast producer, helping small and growing companies find their voice and tell their stories.

A published author since she was nine, she loves to coach her clients on the power of storytelling to differentiate themselves in crowded and clamorous markets.
